The three boxes become one frosted panel with thin dividers, small round thumbnails and an arrow on each row. Lighter and tidier, still clearly a separate block.
No boxes at all: a sky-blue line, a small "Now at NPoC" label and three headlines separated by hairlines, each with an arrow. A soft shadow behind keeps it readable over the photos. The most minimal, and it lets the photo wall show.
The same open list, with a soft blurred and darkened patch behind it. The patch fades out at its edges, so there's still no box, but the photos behind the text go quiet and the words stand out.
"Now at NPoC" moves out of the corner into one frosted strip across the bottom of the hero, three items side by side, like a news bar. The right side of the hero is left entirely to the photos.
